1. What is the idea in a nutshell?

We recorded an interview with Boris Johnson in a London studio and have taken some of his answers and laid them over a solid beat and created what we think could be a hit single “Is Fatboy Slim a DJ?”

Using your help, we want to use the power of the internet to see if we take the single to Number 1 in the charts.

2. Is it really Boris on the track or have you just sampled him off the TV?

It really is Boris. We suggested the idea to him and were surprised and extremely happy when he said "I'd be delighted to appear on one of your records."

We met up with Boris and recorded him in a London studio. The music was recorded at a later date.

3. Who are you?

All will be revealed soon. We are involved in the music industry, but we are not connected in any way with any political party or the Boris for Mayor campaign.

4. Why didn't you get Boris to rap or sing?

Boris actually thought he was going to have to rap at first. We politely declined his gracious offer.

5. Did you only get him to talk about Fatboy Slim or DJing?

No. The segments used for the record were part of a hilarious hour interview we did with Boris on a varierty of different subjects.

Our track features Boris covering topics such as DJ culture, including Terry Wogan, and his own fleeting music career.

6. What's Boris like?

Very intelligent and very likeable.

7. Do you really think Boris will make Number 1 in the charts?

Yes definitely. We've only put a small sample of the track online. The complete track is utter genius.

8. When will the single be out?

We are working on the video at the moment and have some great ideas to help with the Boris for Number 1 campaign.

Once we have enough emails of support we will send out a mail encouraging everyone to buy the single in the same week to send it rocketing up the charts. Keep checking the blog for news!

9. Could this be bigger than Live Aid?

Probably not.
